Include your topic and your name in the email subject line. Example: Art - Abigail Eckstine.
We accept previously published work, as long as you tell us where and when it was published so we can take this into consideration. We accept multiple submissions, send us any work as long as it sticks to the current theme.
We publish work in our digital magazine, as well as archive all pieces on our blog. After publication, rights revert back to you. If your work gets picked up again please be sure to credit us if the piece gets accepted elsewhere.
Thank you for submitting and we will strive to get back to you anywhere from 2-4 weeks.
We welcome repeat author submissions but having work published with us before does not guarantee publication again.
Art: Up to 3 pieces, attached to the email in JPEG or PDF form. In body of email please include the names of each piece and if they are a set or individual. Also include in a separate attachment a 50 word 3rd person bio and any social media links. We accept visual art and poetry combinations as well.
Poetry: Up to 5 poems, attached to the email in doc, docx, or rtf form. In body of email please include the names of each piece and if they are a set or individual. Also include in a separate attachment a 50 word 3rd person bio and any social media links. We usually do not accept rhyming poems.
Prose: All fiction must be under 2000 words, attached to the email in doc, docx, or rtf form. Only 1-2 pieces per submission, include the names of each piece in the body of the email. Also include in a separate attachment a 50 word 3rd person bio and any social media links.
Non-Fiction: We accept creative 3rd person non-fiction, short memoirs, flash essays and book reviews All work must be between 1500-2500 in Times New Roman, size 12. Please only send one per submission, attached to the email in doc, docx, or rtf form. Also include in a separate attachment a 50 word 3rd person bio and any social media links.
Sadly at this time we can not offer our authors payment, we hope to be able to do this someday!
